New Findings Shop Open on Etsy
I finally took the time to go through my ridiculously vast inventory of beads and findings, and grouped together the items I'm no longer using in my jewelry designs. So, I have opened a new shop on Etsy, Findings by ME (Myra Elizabeth). The shop currently includes an extensive collection of watch faces, and I have a few pieces of Hill Tribe Silver left. Coming soon, I will be adding sterling silver charms, Bali Silver toggles and much more!

My Niece's Wedding, Part 2

Erin's weddi

After the ceremony, the guests were entertained by a steel drum player and the a group of very friendly (well, expect for one) McCaws and Cockatoos. Pictured here are my three children and their cousin, Aly.

Following the cocktail hour, we had a sit-down dinner, Erin and Julius cut their wedding cake, and we danced the rest of the night away!

My Niece's Wedding, Part I

As part of my niece's wedding present, I designed her necklace and earrings, as well:

Here's a photo the happy bride immediately following the ceremony:
All the hard work and stress of wedding preparations really paid off--the ceremony and reception couldn't have been more beautiful!
A Little Bit About Me . . .
Growing up, I was always involved in some craft or another. My mother was a member of a crafting circle, a group of friends who got together every month to work on a particular craft. She also made many of our clothes, painted and created fresh flower arrangements. My dad's interests ran to any type of wood-working. Needless to say, creativity and crafting is in my genes! I have always loved accessories and jewelry. A number of years ago I made earrings from sculpted paper and sold them where I worked. Many years later, I went to a party where we could design our own bracelets. I had so much fun picking out different beads and creating a unique piece of jewelry, that I was hooked! That was 10 years ago. In January 2005, I founded Myra Elizabeth Designs. I currently reside in a private, 8,000 acre wildlife conservation lake community in the foothills of North Georgia, about 60 miles north of Atlanta, with my husband, 3 kids and 3 dogs.
